# Make scenario blueprint: inbox → AI draft → approval

Status: UNTESTED template from Agent Setup Lab (agentsetuplab.com). This is a written blueprint (module-by-module) rather than an importable file, because Make blueprint files depend on your connections. Build it in about 20 minutes.

Cost note: Make charges credits per module run. This scenario uses roughly 4–5 credits per email. Make Free includes 1,000 credits a month; Core is about $9/mo billed annually (check make.com/en/pricing).

## Modules (left to right)
1. **Gmail › Watch Emails**
   - Folder: INBOX · Criteria: Unread only · Max results: 10
   - Schedule the scenario every 15 minutes.
2. **Filter (on the link)** — label: "Real person"
   - Sender email *does not contain* `noreply` AND Subject *does not contain* `newsletter`.
3. **OpenAI (ChatGPT) › Create a Completion** (or Anthropic Claude › Create a Message)
   - System message: the "Reply drafter" prompt from our Prompt Pack, with your reply guide pasted in.
   - User message: `From: {{from}}\nSubject: {{subject}}\n\n{{text}}`
   - Temperature 0.3, max tokens 500.
4. **Gmail › Create a Draft**
   - To: sender address · Subject: `Re: {{subject}}` · Content: the AI output · Thread ID: from module 1 (keeps it in the conversation).
5. **Slack › Create a Message** (optional approval nudge)
   - Channel: #inbox-review · Text: `Draft ready for "{{subject}}" from {{from}} — review in Gmail Drafts.`
6. **Error handler** on module 3: add a *Break* directive with 3 retries, so a temporary AI outage doesn't drop emails.

## Rules that keep a human in charge
- No "Send an Email" module anywhere in the scenario.
- Turn on "Sequential processing" so drafts arrive in order.
- Check the scenario's History tab weekly for credit use and errors.
